From comes Round II in the Keynes v. Hayek rap battle. As with Round I, I think Hayek gets the better of the video, with Keynes appearing to endorse the broken window the fallacy - a perversion of his actual views.

The videos are produced by a group of libertarian/Austrian School economists and that bias is implicit in the lyrics. Still, it’s amusing and informative.

I’m very excited to finally see “Round II”. I use the original rap battle in various classes, and students always seem to enjoy them—and learn from them.

Slums Around the World

One of my students sent me this amazing link. It’s a multimedia/interactive presentation about slums in Venezuela, Kenya, India, and Indonesia. It’s a great class resource, particularly if you’re looking for something more dynamic than a standard article or video.
